In order to enhance the ability of scientific and technological innovation, accelerate the pace of scientific and technological innovation, and achieve mutual development with complementary advantages. On June 6, 2018, a delegation led by Professor Wang Jinwu, chief physician of orthopedics and director of 3D printing reception center of the Ninth People's Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University, visited T-Bright (Jiangsu) New Material Technology Co., Ltd. and had an in-depth friendly discussion with Chairman Chen Chongguang of Tongguang Technology and Taiwan's research and development team. The two sides agreed to jointly build a joint laboratory of '3D printing biodegradable orthopedic implants'. Chen Lan, Deputy Director of Kunshan Science and Technology Bureau, Guo Wenhua, Secretary of Bacheng Town, Qiu Ping, Director Zhang Yufeng and other leaders listened to the project report.

 The Orthopedic 3D Printing Center of the Ninth Academy of Shanghai Jiaotong University is led by Dai Jirong, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and led by Wang Jinwu, director of the Center. It has become a leading and internationally renowned multidisciplinary 3D printing research, clinical application demonstration, achievement transformation and talent training base. 

T-Bright Technology established a doctoral research and development team with rich knowledge and experience in chemical, material, biological, medical and medical regulations in Taiwan in early 2017. In the first half of this year, 3D printing biodegradable orthopedic materials have been submitted to the US FDA for certification, and it is expected to obtain the world's first FDA certificate for orthopedic implants of this material in early 2019.

The two sides complement each other's strengths in joint efforts, and plan to establish a joint laboratory in the T-Bright Science and Technology Kunshan R&D Building. The Joint Laboratory will be led by Academician Dai Qirong and Director Wang Jinwu of Shanghai Jiaotong University. The research team of the Ninth Academy of Shanghai Jiaotong University, T-Bright Technology and Taiwan's doctoral team will jointly participate in the project research, focusing on the industrialization research of '3D printing biodegradable orthopedic implants' materials, including: material testing, regulatory research, application for medical device registration certificate, animal testing and clinical trials. Strive to obtain the first CFDA certificate of the implant in China in about three years, promote the technical progress of orthopedic medical devices in China, and benefit the global orthopedic patients.
